Snowlight Smile

Snowflakes fall

They whisper low

The streetlights hum

A golden glow

Your laughter dances in the air

A fleeting warmth

Beyond compare

Oh

Your snowlight smile

It lingers here

Through frosty nights

So bright

So clear

I hold the moment

Time stands still

Your snowlight smile

It always will

Footsteps crunch on powdered streets

A fragile song

I ache to hear

Underneath the falling white

I see your face in the quiet night

Oh

Your snowlight smile

It lingers here

Through frosty nights

So bright

So clear

I hold the moment

Time stands still

Your snowlight smile

It always will

Frosted windows

Our breath clouds the glass

A fleeting dream I can’t let pass

The snow will melt

The lights will fade

But your smile’s the trace that winter made
