Jockey Blues - Bill Samuels
Now my father was no jockey
But he sure taught me how to ride
Well well I said my father was no jockey
But he sure taught me how to ride
He said First in the middle
And then you swing from side to side
Now my father told me Son
When I was only one
Don't ride your horse too fast
Cause you'll never never last
I'm a jockey
And I sure know how to ride
First in the middle
And then you swing from side to side
Now he said always take your time
And you won't be left behind
When you jump into your saddle
Be sure to hold your lines
Well I'm a jockey
And I sure know how to ride ride
First in the middle
Then you swing from side to side
Yes my father was no jockey
But I said
He taught me how to ride
Don't you teach me
Don't you teach me
I said my father was no jockey
But he sure taught me how to ride
How to ride
But I can't do it baby
Unless I have you by my side
Well well
