Letter to My Younger Me

Dear little me, so full of light

Almost a whisper, soft warmth

Born into arms that held you tight

A papa’s love, a mama’s grace

A brother’s guard, your sacred place

You were the dream they waited for

The joy that danced through every door

A home of warmth, where love was sewn

Before the world became your own

Then came the days of restless skies

Questions loud and wild goodbyes

Mistakes were made, you chased the wind

Not knowing what was loss or sin

You dreamed of stars beyond your street

Of moons and worlds beneath your feet

But some dreams fade, some roads must bend

Still, what you learned became your friend

Oh younger me, don’t be afraid

The storms you faced, the price you paid

They shaped a soul both kind and wise

With softer heart and clearer eyes

You’ve walked through fire and falling skies

Lost things that made the angels cry

But every tear has grown your grace

You're stardust held in God's embrace

You lost him.. Papa’s sudden flight

A wound that echoes through the night

But even now, his love still stays

In quiet signs and silent days

You’ve learned to fall, you’ve learned to stand

To hold your life with gentler hands

You’ve loved, been hurt, then loved once more

And found the one worth fighting for

There was pain.. And there was loss

You held a dream.. And paid the cost

But oh, dear soul, you’re still enough

Your quiet strength has made you tough

Oh younger me, you’ve done just fine

Through paths unmarked and crooked lines

With God beside, with parents’ prayers

You grew through grief and climbed through layers

You’ve walked through fire and falling skies

So when you doubt, just look and see..
