My cousin lives in California
Where it's always sunny and
She thinks these blizzards and these snow days
Are kinda funny and
I'm tired of wearing puff boots and snow pants
I'm tired of hearing Daddy's shovel rants
Just want the clouds to melt and show me some sun
I'm lookin for a spring day
When the sun comes out
And we can go play
And we scream and shout
'Cause the grass is green and the flowers are startin to bloom
Just one spring day will do
The inside games and glitter and art work
We're glued together now
I don't think anyone denies we're
Snowbirds of a feather now
I'm tired of watching movies on the couch
Let's go convince the ground hog to come out
Forget the shadow I just wanna see the sun
And I just want a spring day
Got my flip flops on and shorts are
Okay I got two bare arms
'Cause the birds are chirpin and the sky is crystal blue
Just one spring day will do
If I have to put this hat on one more time
I think I'll lose my head
I think I'll smash every snowman I see
And then I'll break my sled
The sound of the school bell is music to my ears
'Cause if we get one more snow day
We'll be in school all year
