It’s funny how memories tell stories from the past
That grow larger than life each year than the last
The truth of this story I tell is to be said
No other hogs I know could be bigger than Rusty and Red
Hurley Ville ain`t on the map where this story does take root
Where hogs and kids when young I’d say some are cute
The truth can be said that hogs ain`t no pet
But can a hog be trained would anyone take this bet
Young Howard hurley I can say never liked ornery swine
To conquer his fear he trained two boars to pull just like equine
The truth can be said two hogs worked as a team
And the Hurley Ville Taxi all know was a money making scheme
Rusty and Red made the big time
Eight hundred pounds each in their prime
Algoma road hogs are Tamworth bred
Ripley’s believe it or not once said
The Hurley Ville Taxi is a sight a wagon pulled by Rusty and Red
A dollar a person for a ride a delight Ripley’s has said
The truth I can say ten thousand people came to see
The curious all want to know in hurley Ville the pigs must be
For years they grew until it was time to go
No more would they pull their Taxi or delight with a show
Their legend will live on the truth is to be said
No other hogs I know are as famous as Rusty and Red
Rusty and Red made the big time
