Was a landscape where the raindrops fell from up high

The sound of the rain is like a concert in the night
Overflowing with sounds so heavy and light
Swaying in the wind, I am finding my groove
Keeping up with the rhythm as I start to move
Every single time that I sway in the breeze
Somebody looks at me, right through the trees
With a curious look and a sparkling eye
They watch me so closely as they pass by
When you stare at me like that, I start to feel shy
But I’ll wag my little tail under the sky
Sending back a passionate gaze

A sudden little worry that won't let me rest
Hey there, little kitty, passing by the tree?
Please, oh please, don't scratch at me!
Today’s little guest is a beautiful bird
With the prettiest feathers that I've ever heard
Landing so lightly on the bar where I hang
Singing out a song with the sweet voice she sprang
Meeting up with a friend she had waited to see
She flew right back to the sky, wild and free
Leaving behind, as she flapped out of sight
The gentle, sweet scent of the sky in the light
I wonder if someday, I’ll be able to trace
That beautiful sky up in that high place
Kicking off the ground with these two feet of mine
Going higher and higher, crossing the line
Looking up above at the peak of the day
That back so free was shining away
I can never forget that sight

Looking at the big sky stretching so wide
My heart starts to flutter with excitement inside
The seven-colored clearing after the rain
I want to keep watching it, again and again
Every time I watch them fly and depart

An unknown emotion I’ve never possessed
Is swaying so softly, deep in my chest
I’m longing for it now, I can’t look away
