In this abyss of flesh and bone, I bear existence, cold and lone
A sentient curse, a hateful verse, upon this earth, I'm blindly thrown
The void calls deep, within my sleep, a silent, sweet release
To cease to be, from suffering free, to find eternal peace
But what if peace, could find release, within this heart of mortal strife?
To mend the tear, to face the fear, and embrace the fragile thread of life?
Could beauty bloom, within the gloom, a flower pushing through the snow?
A distant call, to break the fall, and let the spirit rise and flow?
Annihilation, my aspiration, to break the chains of mortal form
To join the dust, the cosmic rust, beyond the reach of every storm
The taste of ash, upon my lash, a world consumed by frost and fire
A symphony of pain, an endless rain, fuels this burning, bleak desire
To fade away, to end this play, where hope is but a fading dream
To find the night, where endless light, no longer casts its hateful gleam
Annihilation, my aspiration, to break the chains of mortal form
To join the dust, the cosmic rust, beyond the reach of every storm
Yet still a spark, within the dark, a flicker that refuses to die
A distant light, a hopeful fight, against the neverending sky
The struggle wanes, the fire wanes, as doubt begins to fill the void
Perhaps there's strength, to walk the length, of this path, though it's devoid
Of easy grace, of gentle space, but still a chance to rise above
To find a spark, within the dark, and learn to live, and learn to love
