Repentance of Solomon

Repentance of Solomon

Verse 1

I chased the wind, I sought the gold,

But all was empty, vain and cold.

The broken wells could not provide,

But living water flows from Christ.

Chorus

Only in You my soul is strong,

Only in You I find my song.

From every shadow, You call me near,

Your voice of mercy, I will hear.

Verse 2

When wisdom failed, Your grace remained,

Your gentle hand broke every chain.

You did not leave, You still forgave,

You raised my life out of the grave.

Chorus

Only in You my soul is strong,

Only in You I find my song.

From every shadow, You call me near,

Your voice of mercy, I will hear.

Verse 3

Now I will walk in truth and prayer,

Your Spirit guides, Your love is there.

Young and old, we learn to stand,

Forever safe within Your hand.

Chorus (repeat)

Only in You my soul is strong,

Only in You I find my song.

From every shadow, You call me near,

Your voice of mercy, I will hear.
