It’s war at last, I heard it on the morning news, and various views

Of what may or may not be

Now they all claim, it’s all done in freedom name, though its not plain

Whose freedom they have in mind

But here we go again to the war

We finally found a cause to kill for

Someone to hate, despise and name call

Some day, when all the hysteria, has finally died away

We may look back at this and sigh

Will we say, if only we knew then, what we now know

We would not have let it end this way
