Don't You Wanna Know

We got us a good thing goin' on right now

I keep hoping one day we'll figure it out

I've done everything but say it out loud

I just wanna know I just wanna know

I don't think I'm strong enough to confess

Think about it long enough you'll probably guess

There's still one thing we haven't addressed

And I just wanna know I just wanna know

When you're ready you just say the word

You can be the one to say it first

Waitin' only makes it worse

Oh and don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know

I'm runnin' out of reasons for waitin' so long

I even tried to sit down and write you a song

But honey what if I've been readin' you wrong

I just gotta know

I just gotta know

When you're ready you just say the word

You can be the one to say it first

Waitin' only makes it worse

Oh well don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know

I just gotta know

Don't you wanna know

If I end up lookin' like a crazy fool

Won't you promise me we'll still be cool

When you're ready you just say the word

You can be the one to say it first

Waitin' only makes it worse

Ooo

If you're ready you just say the word

You can be the one to say it first

Waitin' only makes it worse

And don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know

Don't you wanna know yeah

Don't you wanna know

We got us a good thing goin' on right now
