If I close my eyes could I wake up
With it clear inside my head
Leave decisions still pending to stay in my bed

I come to terms with un-learning all I thought I knew
While my friends gather round me to help pull me through

So let's light up the town or just sit here in silence
As long as we try to avoid using past-tense
