So far I've seen people I called friends become more
And more hateful each day
I see the hatred often come from insecurity
Afraid of what you don't know
As if this place we live in is the best place for us all
But all is only a few
Well I can't change your mind it is one sided so instead
I cut you out from mine
Thank you for leaving garbage in my backyard
With the words you claim is true
But its not
Thank you for making young people look up to you
And falling in the same pit you did
I know the answer lies in how the old people talk
To make a point for the young
If you feel that you've been lied to and the preaching is wrong
Turn your back and be gone
Tell me if you have ever been ashamed of your beliefs
That means there's still a chance to turn
Well now you know with power comes indispensability
Well man can change the whole world
