We’ve lived together for many years.
We shared some laughter and some tears.
We cuddled every night to fall asleep.
We used to dream about peace
And every hug and every kiss
Seemed to act just like a ** on me.
It was a time when we were engaged,
But time has passed, and each of us has changed.
Look what we have become.
Now our hearts are numb.
