The Pinocchio
Pinocchio, Pinocchio, little wooden doll,
With a nose that grows when he tells a tall tale.
Honest be he, and his nose stays small,
But lies just once, and oh, how it wails!
I'll be a real boy, someday soon, he'd say,
As he walks and talks, in the world each day.
Remember Pinocchio, learn from his play,
Honesty's key, to hearts that won't stray.
Through forests green, and seas so blue,
Pinocchio learns, with friends like Geppetto too.
Never tell a lie, that's what's true,
For Pinocchio's journey, is a lesson for you.
So hold your head high, with truth in your heart,
And watch your nose, it'll never start to part.
The Pinocchio tale, a simple start,
Teaching us all, the joy of being smart.
