Operation lightning low flying thunderheads
Certainly bad days ahead
Catching my eyes in the rear vision mirror
And they're both visibly upset
ASIO's on my tail as I clarify

Speeding away to god knows what
While everything turns hyper real
Pick a shabby hotel
Like you pick something
Bad between your teeth
When you check in
Check in like you have an extra set of eyes
Drapes are drawn and
Static from the aircon
Help sooth my nerves
Lights flicker for a few good seconds
But don't ever actually catch
Operation lightning holed up in a room
Three folders tossed on a bed
Know I know what you know
As the morning tries to clear my head
Empty the mind so when the time comes
I could burn as hard as hell
Nothing I can do - will stay neutral
So I gather up the folders instead
As I open the door
I can smell that something is amiss
