Night at the Zoo

Lizard queen laid her eyes on me

Showed her teeth like a wolverine

I shed my skin like a summer snake

Spiraling ‘cause my back won’t break now

I got down with mother goose

She said I got a few screws loose

I think I’ll see myself out?

Another night at the zoo

I’m finally crawling out

Out of my cage now

And there’s no telling what

What I will do

Met a weasel with a wicked smile

He said he’s got a leopard on speed dial

I got in a pickle with a porcupine

I found my porpoise in a glass of wine

I helped a zebra cover up his stripes

And now he’s dancing in the disco light
