I want to comfort all the weary souls in this world.

I'm just so weary myself, you see.

When the long, long day is finally through,

The people who are growing powerless,

The moments of hope are getting shorter still,

While the hours of pain just stretch on and on.

Sitting on the bench, catching my breath for a while,

On the sofa's arm, closing my eyes for a time..

The realities I wish to forget,
