It was there

It went into a cloud

It’s rain went in the river

It was real

It hit us like the wind

It fell out of our lips

And its mountain said forever

And forever ground it gently into bits

In those final piles of snow

It was true

As perfect as a star

And as useless every night

And it woke up in between us on a bed
