Image (Pep Talk)

Look at you. I’m serious, just look at you - your top, your bottom, your hair. Your

IMAGE. Are you OK with that? Did you consider the formality of the occasion? The

dress code? What’s acceptable and what’s not? What’s decent and what isn’t? If you’re

good with it, cool. If you’re not - let’s fix it. Fact of the matter is: Image is a Major Key to

success & connection. People judge & draw conclusions based off what they see well

before they get a chance to know you. It’s not always fair but that’s just life. And how

you show up for life impacts how people receive you. If the shirt is wrinkled - iron it. If

you know you’re dusty - clean up. Your image is a reflection of the respect you have or

don’t have for yourself and/or the event or people you’re showing up for. Think of it this

way: you’re planning a wedding and on the wedding day you’re all dressed up but one

of the groomsmen shows up rocking beach shorts and flip-flops - are you kidding me?

Do you think the groomsmen has any respect for the event he’s at? Or are you cool with

it? Most likely, you’re not gonna be cool with it. Read the room! Read the room! Most

champions are believed to be champions simply by how they show up. So I’m daring

you to not only show up but to show up well. That’s half the battle. The other half is just

being great at whatever it is that you’re doing. You’ll take the win over the top. And you’ll
