Journey is the Answer

The buzz of the crossing, the noise of the street

A river of people, a rhythm of feet

Layers of stories in every stride

The pulse of living is echoing inside

The smiles and the tears and the pain that we feel

They melt in the wind and they turn like a wheel

Merging with faces I don’t even know

I just keep on walking, wherever I go

What kind of tomorrow is waiting for me?

The answer is blowing in the wind, wild and free

I’ll just trust the road that’s right in front of my eyes

And keep moving forward beneath the open skies

Sometimes I might lose my way, it’s true

But a detour might show me a beautiful view

A journey to find what it means to be alive

That’s what life is—the will to survive

Even when things don't go quite as planned

With one step of courage, I’ll take a stand

A brand new world is coming into my sight

So I’ll keep on walking toward the light
