Simply Complicated - Bryan Rice
Too warm on the inside
Too cold on the outside
In between there's nothing
It's too bright in the sunlight
Too dark in the moonshine
And in between you're just waiting
Nothing ever ends
The way you wanted from the start
Nothing's ever easy
But it's really not that hard
It's simply complicated
You know I love it and I hate it
This life goes up and down
Round and round
Inside out and upside down
There are chances to be taken
You can live or just keep waiting
But all we really know
Is that it's simply complicated
Simply complicated
If you're scared of the bad days
You won't find the good ways
You won't see them when you're hiding
You reach for the top
You get there and then you drop
An end is just a new beginning
Nothing ever ends
The way you wanted from the start
Nothing's ever easy
But it's really not that hard
It's simply complicated
You know I love it and I hate it
This life goes up and down
Round and round
Inside out and upside down
There are chances to be taken
You can live or just keep waiting
But all we really know
Is that it's simply complicated
You're not right just
'Cause you're not wrong
If you don't try
It won't make you strong
You can love it
You can hate it
But it's only what you make it
That's life
And it's simply complicated
You know I love it and I hate it
This life goes up and down
Round and round
Inside out and upside down
There are chances to be taken
You can live or just keep waiting
But all we really know
Is that it's simply complicated
Simply complicated
Simply complicated
