One Silver Ring

when i was a child i buried my dreams

they grew up all twisted and flowered up rings

since I've been a child I've carried my rings

of broken up dreams and things I've forgotten

One Silver Ring we are playing a game

we don't know the names of anything

while I'm still a child

I'll only play games that never end

only change the ways of the playing

weaving the strands, coupling the bands

apex to apex, a latticed array

when I am only a child, I will grow all my strains

of colourful schemes in courses a spinning

glimmering wild, the All Tangled Twine

these threads weave all changed

a sheen irridescent

One Silver Ring we will play with the game

and change all the ways of everything.
