The aperture is moving
Two iris‘s opening
Light flooded in
Diameter wide
I could see inside
I deserved a glove touch
Softness played it school yard rough
Light flooded in
Gentle and warm
Reveal where I came from
Back lit dream
Red light glow
Colouring the shadows
The solution is a recipe
A concoction from my family
I held it in
So long inside
Developing in time
Back lit dream
Red light glow
Colouring the shadows
Images in motion
Me within a window
Capturing the contrast
Silver resolution
Fading into focus
Real life emerging
Hues I hadn't noticed
My picture is worthy
Back lit dream
Red light glow
Colouring the shadows
