###Verse 1
Your tiny hands held a half-wrapped toy
Laughs like wind chimes pure and full of joy
You gurgled soft as I rocked you slow
By the Christmas tree where the warm lights glow
I kissed your cheeks soft as rose petals fine
Whispered lullabies till the moon did shine
You grasped my finger tight and gentle too
A love so small but so deep and true
###Pre-Chorus
Your toy sits soft in the cradle we made
The blanket I knit in the drawer laid
I hum the lullaby night and day
Feeling your presence in every way
###Chorus
To my beloved little one in heaven above
This Christmas prayer is wrapped in my love
You’re safe with angels in the holy light
Your smile’s the peace that makes the dark take flight
Merry Christmas sweet one pure and mild
Your love’s the warmth that keeps my heart reconciled
###Verse 2
We hung a stocking tiny and bright
Filled with ribbons soft and light
You watched the snow fall eyes wide and clear
Curious about the world so near
I carried you close through the festive night
Listened to your breaths soft and light
You cooed at the bells ringing far and wide
A little soul with heaven’s guide
###Pre-Chorus
Your toy sits soft in the cradle we made
The blanket I knit in the drawer laid
I hum the lullaby night and day
Feeling your presence in every way
###Chorus
To my beloved little one in heaven above
This Christmas prayer is wrapped in my love
You’re safe with angels in the holy light
Your smile’s the peace that makes the dark take flight
Merry Christmas sweet one pure and mild
Your love’s the warmth that keeps my heart reconciled
###Bridge
I know you’re there where the stars shine bright
Dancing with angels through the peaceful night
You’re not far gone just a whisper away
In the snow’s soft fall in the carol’s sway
Someday we’ll rock by that heavenly tree
Till then your love’s my constant decree
###Outro
Merry Christmas my tiny love I miss you so
Your spirit lives on in every soft snow
