The river growls — it won't be tamed

The highest will retakes its claim

The storms of past recall my shame

But the ground below it stays the same

Thunder shouts while silence fights

Who owns the day won't rule the night

Does supernature fill the air

If silence wins when no one's there?

The shadows sway in rhythm's grasp

The wind it howls a haunted rasp

The fire flares then flickers out

These changes, what are they about?

Is it fate or is it free

Is it them or is it me

Nature's silenced, omens call

A hand of fate above it all

Prophetic visions hide my way

Rewind to start, and then press play

The stars they blink like knowing eyes

The moon it grins and never tries

The sun it burns it always strives

But time just waits and never lies

The owl glides, the storm subsides

No natural or supernatural sides

Just silence where the answer hides

Still lasts and waits for truth and lies
