Look On Younder Wall (Original Mix)

Look On Yonder Wall - Jazz Gillum

(piano & harmonica)

Look on yonder'd wall

Hand me down my walkin' cane

Look on yonder'd wall

Hand me down my walkin' cane

Yeah, I'm gonna find me woman

Hoo-well, you get ready to meet your man

Now baby, I've been worried

Ever since Veteren's Day

Ev'rytime I pick up the paper

Yo' man is comin' this a-way

Look on yonder'd wall

Hand me down my walkin' cane

Said, I'm gonna find me woman

Woo-hoo, look, here come yo' man

Now yo' man don't want no two keys

Made to his do'

He don't want no strange shoes

Layin' down on his flo'

He don't want no hat, mama

Three sizes too small

He don't want my clothes

Hangin' up on his wall

Look on yonder'd wall

Hand me down my walkin' cane

I'm gonna find me woman

Woo-hoo, wait babe

Baby, here come yo' man

(harmonica & instrumental)

Now your man have been in the army

'N I know that's awful, tough

I don't know how many men that he done kill

But I think he done killed enough

Look on yonder'd wall

Hand me down my walkin' cane

I'm gonna find me woman

Hoo-hoo, well baby

Baby, here come yo' man.
