Katherine - Sara Storer
Written by：Sara Storer
Her name was Katherine and he'd talk of her
The mess she'd left and the heart she'd tore
Was it real that she was coming up again
She'd laid low for a couple of years
And the panic struck as she drew near
Now she threatened to visit her old friend
He and his mates they'd all get together
And they'd talk about her and then about the weather
And he tell them he couldn't go another round
Lady I know what you've come to do
And just between me and you
It will break him
If you come running back through his town
Katherine River just like a lover
I would rather you get out of this town
Take your memories with you where you go
To secret places only rivers know
Get out of this town
Her name was Katherine she was high as wide
With a peaceful beauty and a dangerous side
Now her name reechoes in the wind
I'm begging you Katherine your name so sweet
He can't abide your dark deceit
Not knowing when your storm will rise again
Katherine River just like a lover
I would rather you get out of this town
Take your memories with you where you go
To secret places only rivers know
Get out of this town
And oh when those dark clouds cry
And those tears they fall between your sides
Spread out wide and then we're all coveredin
A river called Katherine
Katherine River just like a lover
I would rather you get out of this town
Take your memories with you where you go
To secret places only rivers know
Get out of this town
Katherine River just like a lover
I would rather you get out of this town
Take your memories with you where you go
To secret places only rivers know
Get out of this town
