There once was a girl in a garden
Who wondered one day what she'd be
The soul and the mind did not harden
While watching the death of the leaves
The mind of the young and the innocent
Free from all the hate and the ignorant
Faults of humankind no remembrance
Thoughts of positivity minus negative images
Their love erases all the blemishes
That we receive from life scrimmages
A consequence of being born in different villages
That shape their world view before forming any sentences
They're supposedly taught how they should function
In a world full of adults abandoning their unction
They see order's nonexistent rampant with dysfunction
War is common place but what is rare is compunction
Compassion is a ration not often served with dinner
Now they can't go out to play
Until they stop and pick their gender
It can be a lot to process a lifetime before it render
But I pray that on playback you see the whole agenda
