I took a bike to hillside
I saw my city turn to night
Needed space and time
Needed thoughts to fly and I
Can only hold so much weight
before my footing starts to break
And these are harder times
This I realise
But I stay hopefull
I stay light
You say my head’s in the clouds
But I need my dreams to survive
And nobody can take that from me
I’m on break from nightmares
And I see you standing here
You’re looking peaceful too
I guess we’ve found our avenue
From the hill, the street lights
Are a million blinking eyes
There will be better times
This we realise

We’ll keep our head in clouds
