[00:00.00]Handel: Alexander's Feast, HWV.75 / Part 1:"The song began from Jove" (Live in Göttingen / 1987) - Donna Brown/English Baroque Soloists/John Eliot Gardiner
[00:01.36]Lyrics by：John Dryden
[00:01.45]Composed by：George Frideric Händel
[00:04.27]The song began from Jove
[00:07.48]Who left his blissful seats above
[00:11.61]Such is the pow'r of mighty love
[00:16.68]A dragon's fiery form bely'd the God
[00:20.45]Sublime on radiant spires he rode
[00:24.99]When he to fair Olympia press'd
[00:29.48]And while he sought her snowy breast
[00:34.17]Then round her slender waist he curl'd
[00:40.15]And stamp'd an image of himself
[00:43.80]A sov'reign of the world
