What You're Not Saying

In the silence of twilight

Two lonely faces

Are a crowded isolation

In the emptiness of a faded love

Every little colour

Is leading to a dead-end darkness

When the storm hits

Close to home

You know that

Gates are slamming

Hearts are breaking

And nothing is left unturned

You know that shadows appear

And turn the doubt to fear

When you say nothing

Silence is taking over

Playing my mind

& I can hear in

What you’re not saying

Say Nothing

Silence is louder than words

Playing my mind

& I can hear in

What you’re not saying
