This house is crinkled to and fro
And has such complex ways to go
It’s shaped as a maze is wrought
I’ve a remedy for that in my thought
No beginning and no end
To the center of the self and out again
A clew of twine the way he’s gone
The same way he’ll return anon
Follow thread till back out he shall come
And when he the beast has overcome
Wind, advance, retreat within the maze
Whose end we cannot navigate
The paths of life are never fully solved
There’s no journey without some things lost
Resist the ways that lead to pain
No revelations gain
Wander through obscurity and daze
To penetrate the haze
Aimless random turnings that feel right
Emerge into the light
Venturing to an enlightened state
We cannot hesitate
Digging crawling faded written walls
Hallowing the halls
To places peril might alight
We journey in spite
