I had a thought, it drifted wide
Slipped through the lattice of the busy inside
Names and numbers, gentle rain
Falling through Swiss cheese brain
I walk through doorways made of air
Intentions strong but not quite there
Half a sentence, lost refrain
Echoed in the curdled pane
Not broken .. aerated
Pressure softly perforated
I’m not undone, I’m just Swissed
Light through the places I almost missed
Air where the overthinking eased
I’m not a wreck ... I’m Swiss cheese
Sticky notes like constellations
Orbiting forgotten stations
Plans I sketched in ink and flame
Dissolve into a softer frame
Time folds over, melts the strain
Mind like aging in a cave of grain
Sharp at dawn, by dusk released
A wheel of thought, imperfectly creased
Not failing ... ventilated
Edges gently complicated
I’m not undone, I’m just Swissed
Light through the places I almost missed
Air where the overthinking eased
I’m not a wreck ... I’m Swiss cheese
Maybe the holes are mercy
Breathing room in disguise
Maybe the mind needs windows
To soften the sharp replies
I’m not undone, I’m just Swissed
Carved by the week but still persistent
Light through the places that used to seize
I’m not a wreck ... I’m Swiss cheese
Not broken…
Just breathing.
