Hope in the Shadows

Hope in the Shadows

Chorus:

Holy is the Father —

Majestic, pure, and kind;

Our source of joy.

You reign in holy splendour —

And we are never alone.

You are the reason we rejoice, O Most High.

Verse 1:

From the dawn of time, You remain the same —

Unmatched in glory, wrapped in flame.

O Most High.

The stars obey, for You are holy,

They bow at Your name; hope lives at Your throne.

O Great Most High.

You formed the dust and gave it breath,

Who is like You, Lord — our Mighty Redeemer?

You speak, and darkness takes its flight;

Who is like You, Lord — our Shield and Defender?

Holy is the Father —

Majestic, pure, and kind;

Our source of joy.

You reign in holy splendour —

And we are never alone.

You are the reason we rejoice, O Most High.

Verse 2:

How many times we've turned away,

Chased the dark and fled the day—

Yet when we cried, You heard our plea

And reached into our shame to set us free.

No sin too deep, no heart too far,

You bore the cross, You bear the scar.

You heal the soul, renew the mind,

And call us home with love so kind.

Holy is the Father —

Majestic, pure, and kind;

Our source of joy.

You reign in holy splendour —

And we are never alone.

You are the reason we rejoice, O Most High.

Bridge:

Creator, yet a Father still,

So sovereign, yet so near.

A Judge who weeps with wounded hearts,

And draws the outcast near.

Creator, yet a Father still,

So sovereign, yet so near.

A Judge who weeps with wounded hearts,

And draws the outcast near.

Holy is the Father —

Majestic, pure, and kind;

Our source of joy.

You reign in holy splendour —

And we are never alone.

You are the reason we rejoice, O Most High.

Holy is the Father —

Majestic, pure, and kind;

Our source of joy.

You reign in holy splendour —

And we are never alone.

You are the reason we rejoice, O Most High.
