Shine Where You Stand

Every little step you take today

Is the light that guides tomorrow’s way

Don’t be afraid when the world feels still

You are a spark, you always will

Storms may rise and try to hide

Shadows fall, but can’t deny

Deep inside, a flame is burning

A fire that will keep on turning

Shine where you stand, let your light be free

No need to wait for a higher stage to be

The truest glow is born inside your heart

Igniting hope, a brand new start

Not every road is straight and clear

Sometimes it bends, wrapped in fear

But every scar that you’ve carried through

Holds the strength that lives in you

When you stumble, rise again

The sky is open, it calls your name

You were made to give, to be

A light that shines eternally

Shine where you stand, let your light be free

No need to wait for a higher stage to be

The truest glow is born inside your heart

Igniting hope, a brand new start

See the smiles around your face

They’re reflections of your grace

One small step, one simple kindness

Can move the world in endless brightness

Never doubt the strength in you

You are stronger than you knew

Even if the world turns away

Your light will never fade away

Shine where you stand, let your light be free

No need to wait for a higher stage to be

The truest glow is born inside your heart

Igniting hope, a brand new start

If the night feels far too long

And your footsteps lose their song

Remember—stars will always shine

In the darkest, deepest sky

Shine where you stand, let your light be free

No need to wait for a higher stage to be

The truest glow is born inside your heart

Igniting hope, a brand new start

Shine where you are, don’t you ever hide

Your little flame will never die

It lights the dream, it sparks the fire

Changing the world, lifting it higher
