Snow is falling soft outside

Candle flames begin to glide

Whispers shimmer through the room —

Something stirs beneath the bloom

Tinsel glows, the clock strikes one

Stars are dancing with the moon

And in the hush, the toys arise

With silver laughter in their eyes

A wooden soldier lifts his head

The porcelain doll begins to tread
