Drifting Through the Day

Morning yawns greet the sun

Pajamas on

No need to run

Coffee brewing

Skies are gray

We’re staying in

Wasting the day

Couch calls

Blankets warm

No agenda

No alarm

Binge the shows

Drift away

In each other's arms

We sway

Let’s do nothing today

Just chill and watch some TV

Forget the world today

Just you and me

So free

Snacks stacked on the table

Lost in stories

Myths

And fables

Remote in hand

Let’s escape

This cozy life we’ve shaped

Turn the volume up high

Watch the moments pass by

In this bubble

We stay

Together

Wasting the day

Let’s do nothing today

Just chill and watch some TV

Forget the world today

Just you and me

So free

Turn the volume up high

Watch the moments pass by

In this bubble

We stay

Together

Wasting the day

Let’s do nothing today

Just chill and watch some TV

Forget the world today

Just you and me

So free
