Stand in the light

Title: Stand in the Light

Verse 1

When the world is shaken, and the truth is tried,

Hold on to the Word, let it be your guide.

Though the storm may rise, though the night is long,

God will lift you higher, He will make you strong.

Verse 2

No fear of the darkness, no chain can bind,

Faith is the power, it renews the mind.

Even when they fight you, stand tall and sing,

Victory is certain, in the name of the King.

Verse 3

Voices may deceive you, shadows try to lead,

But the Word of Heaven is the light you need.

Keep your heart unshaken, walk in holy fire,

God will take you further, lifting you higher.

Verse 4 + Chorus

Stand in the light, let your faith shine bright,

God is with you, turning wrong to right.

No sword, no chain, can break His plan,

The Lord is your strength — so rise and stand!

(Chorus)

Stand in the light, stand in the light,

Shine your faith strong, shine your faith bright.

God is with you, turning wrong to right,

The Lord is your strength — so rise and fight!
