Your scarf still sways where seagulls fly

I watch the waves and wonder why

The tide still hums our favorite song

And waits for you to sing along

Every sunset feels the same

Every wave still calls your name

The bench by the sea still waits

For the love the tide won’t take

Even storms can’t wash away

The place we met that day

The salt and wind still taste like then

And I would give the world again
