The glowing of a screen
The only light I’ve seen in days
Life in silence
Only broken by the yawns when I am drained
Harsh and revised
Like scars in disguise
Marked by the lies now faded
I’m weak and diluted
Replaced by a portrait now left faceless
A depiction of a soul left all alone
A photo of a scene
A lasting memory we made
Brash and vibrant,
But out of focus
when it’s finally in frame
Stark in the contrast
We painted with grace
A window to beauty
Worthless when appraised
Reduced and diluted
A sound out of phase
Chasing the clues left
By a canvas unstained
Harsh and revised
Like Scars in disguise
Marked by the lies now faded
I’m weak and diluted
Replaced by a portrait now left faceless
The glowing of a screen
A photo of a scene
