Neither sun nor star for three days
Wicked north wind and the cold rain
Storm tossed by the storm waves
No land in sight, no saving grace
I heard the cry of two hundred men
Abandoning all of their hopes then
Take heart men, the angel said
This too shall end, don't forget it
Right up ahead the sun is shining
Can't see it yet but you will find it
Moses and them they kept on striving
Job lost it all but God provided
Jonah went down but came up rising
Jesus was dead but is alive
I barely escaped at Damascus
But five times I received those lashed
Spend years bound by shackles
Left with no sign, that I'd see the light
But I've seen God work countless times
To calm the storms and change the tide
Take heart men, the angel said
This too shall end, don't forget it
Right up ahead the sun is shining
Can't see it yet but you will find it
Moses and them they kept on striving
Job lost it all but God provided
Jonah went down but came up rising
Jesus was dead but is alive
Jesus was dead but is alive
Jesus was dead but is alive
Take heart men, the angel said
This too shall end, don't forget it
Right up ahead the sun is shining
Can't see it yet but you will find it
Moses and them they kept on striving
Job lost it all but God provided
Jonah went down but came up rising
Jesus was dead but is alive
Jesus was dead but is alive
Jesus was dead but is alive
