The Temple of the Rain

I am wandering in the garden of the light

waiting for the stars to appear to fill the sky

I’m the sun that has no limits and no bounds

You’re the moon whose tears are falling to the ground.

My eyes are closed, because my heart is going blind

I’m looking for the rain that comes to wash my mind

There’s no misery, no guilt and there’s no pain

in the Temple of the Rain

Drought will end and all the fields will bloom again

in the Temple of the Rain

I am walking through the dried up ground of God

while my eyes flood all the soil, my feet unshod.

and together we alleviate our mortal pain

bowing our love to the Spirit of the Rain.

My eyes are closed, because my heart is going blind

I’m looking for the rain that comes to wash my mind

There’s no misery, no guilt and there’s no pain

in the Temple of the Rain

Drought will end and all the fields will bloom again

in the Temple of the Rain
