The sun is blinding, reflecting on the dash
Making a promise that we know won't last
Four friends are screaming to a blown-out speaker
The world in the rearview's getting weaker and weaker
Turn up the static on the radio!
We got nowhere else to go!
Windows down, yeah, we're screaming our lungs out
This empty highway is all we care about!
The lines on the asphalt are turning to a blur
Forgetting everything that we were
This beat-up car is a getaway plan
Just for tonight, I'm a different man
Turn up the static on the radio!
We got nowhere else to go!
Windows down, yeah, we're screaming our lungs out
This empty highway is all we care about!
We're going faster, leaving it all behind!
The boring town we'll never find again!
Go!
Turn up the static on the radio!
We got nowhere else to go!
Windows down, yeah, we're screaming our lungs out
This empty highway is all we care about!
