I never cared if they would judge me
I was just doing what I want
I would smoke up in the back seat
Then I would pass it to the front
Driving
Mid July when
Sun was rising
We've been up all night
Wake up
When the day's done
Didn't phase us
That was our motto
Sipping right out of the bottle
I don't wanna be a role model
We were 17 with no problems no problems
Eyes low
We never thought of tomorrow
Never asked nobody to follow
I don't wanna be a role model role model
We used to hide our drinks in public
We couldn't wait for 21
Today I woke up 20 something
Asking where the time's gone
I used to see how much that I can get away with
Praying Mama still asleep while sneaking out the basement
I miss the days when life felt just like an infinite vacation
Only thing I'm looking up to
The stars and constellations
Never had no role models
Only lived for the drama
Wish time would freeze like Dad's vodka when we swapped it with water
Man I felt dumb as hell
Trouble was the least of my problems
Rollin around like seven deep in the Mazda
Man I remember we were
Driving
Mid July when
Sun was rising
We've been up all night
Wake up
When the day's done
Didn't phase us
That was our motto
Sipping right out of the bottle
I don't wanna be a role model
We were 17 with no problems no problems
Eyes low
We never thought of tomorrow
Never asked nobody to follow
I don't wanna be a role model role model
Don't wanna be a role model
That was our motto
Sipping right out of the bottle
I don't wanna be a role model
We were 17 with no problems no problems
