The Darkness

I no longer fear the darkness as it hides me from them

I creep about in my own little world

The darkness seems to heal the wounds

The darkness hides them from me

Its so quiet here so very quiet

I cannot hear my breathing

My broken bones no longer hurt

As I lie here in the darkness

I remember when I used to run

And when I used to play

But I cant remember what happened then

Or that I want to

So here I am in the darkness

I will be here forever

You must have wanted this

Never to let me grow.
