Littleboybigheadonbike sprung from the small but tight-knit music scene of Providence, RI in 2014. While frequently performing and releasing an EP each week, he quickly gained recognition as being an especially prolific and distinct new artist. Drawing influence from the likes of the Tallest Man on Earth and Nick Drake, as well as artists from Indie Rock circles such as Sparklehorse, Frankie Cosmos, and Alex G, his sound is often characterized as being childish and innocent, while also being painfully honest and melancholy. His 2015 full length,"Dreams" provides a lo-fi landscape of mixes that are sometimes lush and sometimes aggressive, topped of with reflective and direct lyrics. This was contrasted by the album"Spirit Ming" (2016), which was shown to be more hopeful and light, but still with the same darkly innocent feeling that defines Littleboybigheadonbike.
