This is John Nazarenko's third collaboration with drummer Eric Harland, this time enlisting bassist Matt Penman. The trio wanted to capture the spontaneity of a live performance and so invited an audience to the session. The group played live in Filene Hall at Skidmore College in December 2012, and even took requests from the audience. It was a magical experience! The intimacy of the small hall and rapport between the musicians is captured in this acoustic recording of piano jazz.
