Vincent formed in Madrid, Spain, in 2007 by 4 young guys. Luis Sainz, Marcos Colombo, Jaime Ramos and Carlos Bueno; which have been playing since that year onward in the underground scene of this city. Although their first work [Square, 2008] was a mainly instrumental, noise-based and strongly influenced by the 90's grunge and post-rock music, they have been moving towards experimental sound, sometimes even folkish, introducing larger voice works without losing their roots. Watery Green, released on 2009, aims to be precisely the result of this experimentation. Their influences go from Tortoise to Animal Collective, from Radiohead to Sonic Youth, without attempting to approach a new sound in experimental musicThis album, Watery Green, is the second release autoproduced and mixed by Vincent. In this recording they try to crystallize several influences that go from post-rock and noise, to pop and electronic music. The result is a collage that may be framed in the alternative rock scene trying to go further, working with their voices instruments and loops.
