Tahoma is the latest creative manifestation of Texas born & raised artist, Brandon Aguilar. It is neither a side-project, nor a band, but a liberating pursuit of captivating melodies & stories. After playing extensively with various bands for over 8 years, Aguilar began writing & performing solo under the moniker in the fall of 2013. Tahoma features acoustic instrumentation, folk songwriting, & dynamic vocals with the occasional harmony from the pure and strikingly beautiful voice of Sarah Oermann. The likes of Gregory Alan Isakov, Ryan Adams, & Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes can be distinguished as influential, from pleasant picking to spirited strumming & an effortlessly full soaring voice.
