Alycia lives and works in Sheridan, WY, where through her own creative event planning, she invites highly-acclaimed musicians from around the country to visit and perform. Since settling back in Sheridan County, her goal has become the welcoming of professional musicians to the community, aiming to ignite creativity and inspire local youth to explore the musical path she herself was fortunate enough to have been led to. This past July, she hosted a large event at The Wyo Theater in Sheridan, showcasing pianist Logan Evan Thomas, bassist Zach Lane, saxophonist Thomas barker, guitarist Brian Blowers, and drummer Hayden Hawkins.This album features each musician, as Alycia solos and leads these wonderful friends on the forward-thinking jazz recording. Taken as a live recording at a carriage house in Sheridan, WY, these songs evoke a desire to dance, cook, and enjoy life in any setting.
